Celebration of Life

Bereaved families, relatives and close friends face decisions about the best way to bid farewell to their loved ones. Many seek a secular funeral, when the departed did not follow religion. Others may want to plan an event that celebrates the life of the person who has passed on.
I offer secular funeral services and life-celebration services, (some people don't use the term "celebration of life", and prefer to call the ceremony a memorial, a wake, a farewell, a sendoff, a free-for-all committal).
I am not an event manager or planner. Instead, I can shape a service or ceremony to honour, remember and commemorate the departed. As the word "celebration" implies, the event sets up to make those who attend feel better by sharing their sadness and sense of loss with others, but also by remembering the lighter, happier sides of the life of the departed.
